To avoid any confusion when checking in, kindly remove old labels stuck on your luggage.Do not accept any luggage item or package from a third party for any reason whatsoever. Never allow your luggage to leave your sight even for a brief moment as it could be treated as suspect and will be destroyed. Warn airport staff of any luggage item or package left unattended.

Put items prohibited in the cabin into your hold baggage.

Certain items are prohibited in the aircraft:
- explosives, ammunition, flammable liquids and corrosive products (e.g. gas, petrol etc.)
- neutralising and incapacitating articles (e.g. acids, self-defence equipment that sprays irritant, stinging or tear-causing gas, radioactive materials, poisons etc.)

Certain items are prohibited in the cabin. If they are discovered during the security check, these objects will be destroyed:

- firearms, including imitations
- knives and cutting instruments with a blade of more than 6 cm
- blunt objects (baseball bat, mallet etc.),
- chemical and biological substances
- liquids, aerosols, gels and pastes in containers of more than 100 ml: (mineral water, perfumes, drinks, lotions, creams, shower gels, shampoos, mascara, soups, toothpaste, liquid soaps, deodorants etc).

The transport of liquids, gels, pastes and aerosols (mineral water, lotions, creams, mascara, toothpaste, deodorant, perfumes etc.) in containers of less than 100 ml is subject to restrictions:

- all of your bottles must be kept in a single closed transparent bag of one litre maximum (20 cm by 20cm, of the "freezer bag” type sold in supermarkets).
- Make sure that you obtain this bag before coming to the airport.

There are some exceptions:
- liquid medication needed during the flight: take the prescription with your name on it
- baby food (if you are travelling with a young infant). Consider taking containers that can be re-closed because you might be asked to taste them during the security check.
- all purchases made in Aéroports de Paris duty free shops: in some cases they will be put into a sealed bag by the shop.

These restrictions apply to liquid products carried in the cabin on all flights departing from airports in the European Union, Norway, Iceland, Switzerland and Singapore, whatever the airline or destination (including internal flights). For flights outside the EU and Norway, Iceland, Switzerland and Singapore, contact your airline.

- you are arriving from a country outside the EU (other than Norway, Iceland, Switzerland and Singapore) and your transfer takes place with departure from an airport in the EU, Norway, Iceland or Switzerland: before your departure, kindly put all your liquids into your hold baggage, including those purchased in the shops of airports outside the EU. If you do not do this, they will be destroyed at the security check, unless they are in containers of less than 100 ml and have been put into a sealed plastic bag of 20cm by 20cm.
