A cancellation, a flight delay, a last minute change of airline? Find out your rights as a passenger as set out by the European Union.

The right to information on your conditions of transport

- the airline operating the flight (even if another airline replaces the one shown on your ticket),
- changes of airplanes, stopovers and transfers between airports during the trip.

The right to compensation

After an accident
- You have the right to receive an advance to cover major expenses.
- You can file a complaint whatever the location of the accident.

In case of overbooking or cancellation
Under certain conditions, you have the right to :
- a full refund of your ticket price, without penalty, or a replacement flight at a later date at your convenience,
- financial compensation from the airline if you are refused the right to embark :

- € 400  :
- for all intra-community flights of more than 1,500 kilometers,
