Commissioning of Paris-Orly West Hall 4.

1987

Opening of the Orlytech high-tech business park.

Passenger volumes at Aéroports de Paris the following year exceed 40 million.

The traffic has doubled in eleven years.

1989

"Aéroport de Paris" becomes "Aéroports de Paris" as of the Decree of January 4, Article 6.

Opening of Terminal 2D at Paris-Charles de Gaulle.

1990

The agreement between Aéroports de Paris and the French national railway, SNCF, for the construction of a high-speed TGV rail station at Paris-Charles de Gaulle is signed.

1991

Creation of Orlyval, which transports more than 2 million passengers per year.

Opening of Paris-Charles de Gaulle Terminal T9 for charter flights.

1993

Opening of Terminal 2C at Paris-Charles de Gaulle, entirely reserved for international traffic with a computerized baggage sorting system.

Commissioning of Paris-Orly West Hall 1, able to handle wide-body aircraft.

1994

Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport is the pioneer of intermodal transport between aircraft and train, either the TGV or the RER.

Opening of a new runway at Paris-Le Bourget, which becomes a dedicated business airport.

1995

A "Maison de l'Environnement" is created at Paris-Orly.

Air France transfers its head office in the Roissypôle business park.

1998

Opening of runway 4 at Paris-Charles de Gaulle, 2,700 meters long. Runway 4 forms a southern doublet with runway 2.

2002

Paris-CDG Terminal T3 (formerly T9) doubles its departing passenger facility, and triples its commercial surface area.

Between 2000 and 2002, the total passenger traffic of Paris-CDG and Paris-Orly dropped 2.8%.

2003

Opening of the sixth terminal at Paris-Charles de Gaulle 2, the Terminal 2E which is used by Air France and the Skyteam alliance exclusively for international traffic. It can receive 18 aircraft on contact stands. In 2004, Aéroports de Paris passenger traffic peaked at over 75 million passengers.

2005

Construction of a business terminal at Paris-Le Bourget.Aéroports de Paris becomes a public limited company.

2006

Capital opened to new shareholders through the flotation on the stock exchange - June 2006.

2007

Commissioning of CDGVal, the automated train connecting CDG1 and CDG2 terminals since April 2007.Opening of "La Galerie Parisienne", the new boarding satellite at Paris-Charles de Gaulle terminal 2E, in June 2007.

2008

Opening of the new boarding area Terminal 2E at Paris-Charles de Gaulle, in March.

Opening of the Terminal 2G dedicated to Schengen and French destinations, in September.
