Aéroports de Paris launches a new « e-service » version of its website
Aéroports de Paris launches a new version of its website. User-friendly and resolutely passenger-oriented (I arrive to / I leave the airport), the new architecture will allow to eventually offer a large range of on-line services (reservation of parking spaces, lounges, etc.).
Two new « e-services » have already been launched: "SMS Info Vol" and "SMS Info Trajet" will allow passengers, after subscription on Aéroports de Paris website, to receive on their mobile information about flight times and traffic conditions to the airport. SMS Info Vol costs 2.99 € for three alerts (12 hours, 4 hours and 1 hour before the flight). SMS Info Trajet, an Aéroports de Paris exclusiveness, costs 1.99 €.
www.aeroportsdeparis.fr website offers exhaustive information for passengers: Unique, Arrival and departure times for all fights, list of airlines operating from Aéroports de Paris airports, choice of itinerary to go to or leave the airport whether by car, taxi or RER (partnership with Mappy and RATP), Shopping and services offers (search by terminal and/or theme), arrivals and departures areas maps (search by destination or airline) and car parks maps, practical guides to services, shops, restaurants; smart guide to shops…
To design its site, Aéroports de Paris relied on solutions and performing technical tools such as:
- customer database and the resort to customer relationship management (CRM) and data mining,
- a secure payment system for on-line services,
- SAP software for billing.
Today, nearly 700,000 customers visit Aéroports de Paris website each month to organize their trip or to use the services available. Visits to shopping and services pages have thus increased by 550 % compared with the same period in 2005.
